Florence P. Bergstrom September 26, 1910 - March 4, 2004

Florence Pauline Bergstrom, 93, of Swedesburg, died Thursday, March 4, 2004 at the Ottumwa Regional Hospital.

      Funeral services will be Monday, March 8, at 10:30 a.m. at the Swedesburg Evangelical Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Philip Borleske officiating. Burial will be in the Swedesburg Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Honts Funeral Home in Winfield. Family will be present from 3 to 5 p.m. A memorial has been established for the Swedesburg Lutheran Church.

Survivors include one son, Ted and his wife Betty Bergstrom of Jacksonville, Ill.; three daughters, Margaret Bergstrom of Chicago, Donna and her husband Kermit Marsh of Clive, Marilyn and her husband Moorie Goldenberg of River Forest, Ill; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and one sister Barbara Merringer of Ottumwa.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; twin infant daughters Mary Jeanne and Miriam Jane; two brothers Raymond and Claire Hedlund; and one sister Margaret Hedlund.
