Florence P. 'Paudy' Rankin

      Florence P. "Paudy" Rankin, 78, of Northfield, Minn., died at noon Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2008, at Northfield Hospital.

      A service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. ellis andrews officiating. Burial will be in Center Chapel Cemetery, southeast of Keosauqua.

      Open visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 10-11 a.m.

      Memorials to Three Links Care Center of Northfield may be left at the funeral home or may be mailed to the family at 1530 Independence Drive, Northfield, MN 55057.

      Mrs. Rankin was born Aug. 20, 1930, in Keosauqua, the daughter of Craig E. "Johnny" and Irene Davidson Armstrong. She married James Vinton "Pappy" Rankin Feb. 5, 1948, in Kahoka, Mo. He died Dec. 1, 1983.
