Florence S. Myers

      Florence S. Myers, 92, of Ottumwa, died at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2007, at Hospice House in Ottumwa.

      A service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Reece Funeral Home in Ottumwa, with the Rev. Lon Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Shinar Cumberland Cemetery in Pleasant Grove.

      Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the family present from 5-7 p.m.

      Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, Ottumwa Public Library or Shinar Cumberland Cemetery Association.

      Mrs. Myers was born June 7, 1914, in Des Moines County, the daughter of John A. and Idora B. Ibbotson Stucker. She married Orval Myers Aug. 24, 1934, in Fairfield. He died Nov. 1, 1987.
