Flossie Lucile Long

      RICHLAND-Flossie Lucile Long, 100, of Richland, died Sunday, June 12, 2005, at Jefferson County Hospital Living Care Center.

      Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15, at Gould Funeral Home in Richland, with the Rev. Harlan Van Voorst officiating. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. Open visitation will begin at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, with the family present from 6:30 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to Packwood Christian Church or Richland United Methodist Church.

      Mrs. Long was born in rural Washington County on Feb. 24, 1905, to Perry Wilbur and Augusta Lena (Jacobs) Davidson. She married Farrel Long on Jan. 24, 1924, in Washington.
