Floyd Brenneman

      KALONA - Floyd Brenneman, 87, of Kalona died Saturday, March 31, 2007 in Mercy Hospital, Iowa City following a short illness.

      Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 3 in the East Union Mennonite Church in rural Kalona with the Rev. Jay Miiller officiating. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today and from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona where the family will be present. Burial will be before the service at 1:30 p.m. in the East Union Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Iowa Mennonite School.

      Mr. Brenneman was born Feb. 18, 1920 in Kalona, the son of Manaas and Lydia (Miller) Brenneman. He married Louise Miller on June 4, 1947 in the East Union Mennonite Church.
