Floyd I. Foster May 26, 1912 - September 16, 2005

      Floyd I. Foster, 93, of Mt. Pleasant, and formerly of the Crawfordsville and Olds communities, died Friday, Sept. 16, 2005, at the Henry County Health Center.

      The funeral service was at 10 a.m. today at the Olds United Church of Christ, with the Rev. Chris Cowles officiating. Burial was in Forest Home Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established to the American Cancer Society, the Kidney Foundation, the American Red Cross or a charity of the donor's choice.

      Survivors include his daughter, Connie Foster of Chicago, Ill.; a son, Thom Foster of Makawao, Maui, Hawaii; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Frances Brown of Iowa City.

      In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Jackie Alfredson; and a sister, Dorothy Baerd.
