Floyd I. Helphrey
Floyd I. Helphrey, 81, of Mt. Pleasant, died at 5:30 a.m., Saturday, June 16, 2001, at his residence.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 19, at the First United Methodist Church in Mt. Pleasant, with Dr. Edward Peterson and the Rev. Kiboko Kiboko officiating. Burial will be in the Trinity Cemetery at Mt. Union. Full military rites will be given by the American Legion. Visitation will be after noon Monday, June 18 at Elliott Chapel in New London, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for Crossroads Hospice, First United Methodist Church in Mt. Pleasant and Trinity Cemetery.
