Floyd Johnson

      Floyd Johnson, 84, of Pleasant Plain, died late Wednesday, April 11, 2007, in Mesa, Ariz., following a brief illness.

      A funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Gould Funeral Home in Brighton, with the Rev. Greg Berkey of Watertown, S.D., officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Plain Friends Cemetery.

      Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Monday, with family present from 6:30-8 p.m., at the funeral home.

      In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established to the Aztec Worship Center, 4220 E. Main St., Mesa, AZ 85205.

      Mr. Johnson was born Dec. 2, 1922, near Pleasant Plain, the son of Oscar and Esther Williams Johnson. He married Hazel Mullikin Feb. 10, 1946. She died Feb. 5, 1967. He married Margery Van Sickle Daering Sept. 7, 1968.
