Forrest M. Striegel

KEOTA - Forrest M. Striegel, 87, of Keota, died Monday, Oct. 10, 2005, in Houston, Texas, following a long battle with prostate cancer.

      A joint Mass of the Resurrection will be held for Mr. Striegel and his wife at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, at Holy Trinity Parish-St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Harper, with the Rev. Marty Goetz officiating. Prior to the Mass, a family visitation will take place at the church. Burial will be in St. Elizabeth Cemetery. Powell Funeral Home in Keota is overseeing the arrangements.

      Mr. Striegel was born March 3, 1918, to Earl and Dora (Goeldner) Striegel. He married Phyllis Irene Perryman on June 26, 1946, in Arlington, Va. She preceded him in death in July 2005.
