Foster E. Brenneman

      Foster E. Brenneman, 83, of Fairfield, died Friday evening, March 28, 2008, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, following a short illness.

      A service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Revs. Robert Koepcke and Richard Wallarab officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

      Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.

      A Foster E. Brenneman Memorial Scholarship for Baseball and Softball has been established.

      Mr. Brenneman was born July 19, 1924, in DelRoy, Pa., the son of Foster Elias and Elizabeth Schock Brenneman. He married Anna Wheatley Aug. 11, 1956, at Barhydt Chapel on the former Parsons College campus.
