Frances A. Obermann

Frances Anna Obermann, 89, of Mediapolis, died Wednesday, Feb. 4, at Ottumwa Regional Hospital in Ottumwa.

Visitation began at noon today, Feb. 6 at Elliot Chapel in New London, with an Order of Eastern Star service at 5:30 and family present from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 7, at Shinar Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Pleasant Grove, with the Rev. Steve Parker officiating. Burial will be in the Shinar Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery.

A memorial has been established for the King's Daughters Camp Lookout at Montrose.

She was born June 16, 1919 in Yarmouth, the daughter of Fred and Elsie Hoh Ellerhoff. On Feb. 22, 1941, she married Ralph Edward Obermann at Shinar Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Pleasant Grove.
