Frances Annetta McConnell

      Frances Annetta McConnell, 91, of Washington, died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2007, at the United Presbyterian Home in Washington.

      Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the United Presbyterian Church in Washington with the Rev. Bob Wollenberg officiating. Burial will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Oregon Township Cemetery in Ainsworth. Visitation will begin at noon Friday at the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials have been established for the United Presbyterian Home or Amenity Hospice.

      Mrs. McConnell was born Oct. 28, 1915, in Lansing, Mich., to Homer and Carrie Edith (Rowan) Coppock. She married Francis "Happy" Adams McConnell on Aug. 18, 1936, in Indianola.
