Frances Cecilia Panther
Frances "Fran" Cecilia Panther, 85, of Iowa City died Wednesday, May 12, 1999, at the Oaknoll Retirement Center after a lengthy illness.
The funeral Mass will be at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 15, at St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. Ken Kuntz officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City, where a rosary will be recited at 4:30 p.m. and a parish vigil service will be at 7 p.m. Memorials can be directed to Alzheimers Research at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
