Frances Faith Coon

      Frances Faith Coon, 89, of Washington, died Thursday, March 17, 2005, at Washington County Hospital following a lengthy illness.

      Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, March 21, 2005, at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, with the Rev. Ralph Draper and Kyle Soukup officiating. Interment will follow in Salem Church of God Cemetery in rural Ainsworth. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m., Sunday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. that evening. A memorial has been established for Salem Church of God.

      Mrs. Coon was born July 20, 1915, on the Merchant family farm near Coppock, to Earl John and Edna Hope (Merchant) Frey. On Feb. 26, 1935, she married Raymond Frederick Coon in Crawfordsville.
