Frances I. Brown

Frances I. Brown, 97, formerly of Mt. Pleasant, died Tuesday, June 17, at the Lutheran Home in Muscatine.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 21, at Murphy Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, with family present beginning at 9:30 a.m. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m., with the Rev. Elaine Vass officiating. Burial will be at Forest Home Cemetery.

She was born Oct. 27, 1910, in Bennet, Neb., the daughter of Harlan and Nellie Ross Foster. On June 8, 1935, she married John S. Brown in Mt. Pleasant.
