Frances M. Brown

Frances M. Brown, 90, of Cantril, formerly of Leon, died Thursday, June 23, 2011, at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.

A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Maple Grove Cemetery, Cantril.

Visitation will be 1:30-2 p.m. Monday at the cemetery.

Memorials to Maple Grove Cemetery may be left at the service or mailed to the family at P.O. Box 23, Cantril 52542.

Arrangements are in the care of Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.

Mrs. Brown married physician Kenneth Brown. After his death, she married attorney Gail Haddock. He also preceded her in death.

Survivors include one son, Tom Brown of British Columbia, Canada; two daughters, Mary Catherine Haack of Kansas City, Mo., and Jeanne Vigeant of Cantril; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
