Frances M. Scarff September 3, 1911 - September 24, 2005

      Frances M. Scarff, 94, of Chariton, formerly of Mt. Pleasant, died Saturday, Sept. 24, 2005, at Chariton Nursing and Rehab Center.

      The graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27 at Forest Home Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant with Rev. Mike Johnson officiating. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27 at the Beatty-Murphy Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, with family present. A memorial has been established to the First Presbyterian Church in Mt. Pleasant.

      Survivors include a daughter, Susan and her husband Jerry Fogle of Chariton; and two grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Margaret Hoelzen and Doris White; and four brothers Walter, Joe, Warren and Richard.
