Frances Marie Magdefrau
Frances Marie Magdefrau, 73, of Washington, died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2008, in Mercy Hospital in Iowa City following a short illness
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, in the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington with the Rev. Harold Gruber officiating. Burial will be in Cottonwood Cemetery, west of Wayland. Visitation will begin at noon Wednesday in the funeral home, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Cottonwood Church.
Mrs. Magdefrau was born Jan. 22, 1935, in Keota, the daughter of Henry and Mazie (Horning) Manning. She married Richard Magdefrau on June 11, 1954 in the Little Brown Church in Nashua.
