Frances Rich Howe January 18, 1918 - September 6, 2005

      Frances Rich Howe, 87, of Hayward, Calif., formerly of the Noble area died Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2005 in Hayward.

      The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10 at St. James Catholic Church in Washington, with the Rev. Fr. Ed O'Melia officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Kingston. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Saturday until the service and will be held at Beatty Funeral Home in Washington. A memorial has been established.

      Survivors include a sister-in-law Shirley Rich and nieces and nephews.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Edith Nebel; and two brothers, Arthur Black and Wayne Rich.
