Frances V. Young
Frances V. Young, 84, died Saturday, Nov. 1, at Washington County Hospital following a lingering illness.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4 at Beatty Funeral Home in Washington. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5, at the United Church of Crawfordsville, with the Rev. Nancy Oehler Love officiating. Burial will follow at the Crawfordsville Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established for the United Church of Crawfordsville.
She was born in Pillager, Minn., the daughter of Elmer and Matilda Kallaus Durst. On Feb. 24, 1948, she married Chester Young in Washington.
