Frances V. Young

      Frances V. Young, 84, of Washington, died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2008, in the Washington County Hospital in Washington, following a lingering illness.

      Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5, at the United Church of Crawfordsville in Crawfordsville, with the Rev. Nancy Love officiating. Burial will follow at the Crawfordsville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington. A memorial fund has been established for the United Church of Crawfordsville.

      Mrs. Young was born March 3, 1924, in Pillager, Minn., the daughter of Elmer and Matilda (Kallaus) Durst. She married Chester James Young on Feb. 24, 1948, in Washington.
