Francis Bernard 'Bucky' James

      Francis Bernard "Bucky" James, 81, of Ainsworth, died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2004, at Washington County Hospital in Washington, following a brief illness.

      Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 7, at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, with the Rev. Scott Nesbitt officiating. Military honors will be accorded following the services. Burial will be in Columbus City Cemetery in Columbus City. Visitation will begin at noon on Friday, at the funeral home, with family present from 4 to 6 p.m. memorials may be directed to the Ainsworth and Crawfordsville First Responders, or Hospice of Washington County.

      Mr. James was born on July 2, 1922, in Washington, to Lee and Cecelia Irene (Roth) James. He married Sadie Elizabeth Raymond Strain on May 10, 1947, in Rock Island, Ill.
