Francis Eugene Lyle

      KEOTA - Francis Eugene Lyle, 87, of Williamsburg, died Monday, Feb. 11, 2008, in the Highland Ridge Care Center in Williamsburg after complications of age and health problems.

      Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15, in the Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Keota with the Rev. James Stout, the Rev. James Bringman and the Rev. Kirk Statler officiating. Burial will be in the Keota Cemetery with military rites. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established.

      Mr. Lyle was born Aug. 8, 1920, near Keota, the son of Guy and Ruth (Rittenhouse) Lyle. He married Theola Waechter on Sept. 19, 1945 in the Ss. Peter and Paul Rectory.
