Francis Joseph Waldschmidt
RIVERSIDE ? Francis Joseph Waldschmidt, 94, of Riverside, died Monday, July 25, 2011, in the Briarwood Health Care Center in Iowa City.
Mass of the Resurrection will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 28, at St. Mary?s Catholic Church in Riverside with the Rev. Thomas Doyle officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery with full military rites. Following the committal services at the cemetery, a time of food and fellowship will be held at St. Mary?s Parish Center. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today, with a 7 p.m. prayer service, at the Sorden-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Riverside. A general memorial fund has been established.
