Francis Wayne Canott
HULBERT, Okla.-Francis Wayne Canott, 84, of Hulbert, Okla., died Wednesday, June 27, 2007, of colon cancer, at his home.
Memorial services were held in Hulbert on Saturday, July 7. Memorial services in Iowa will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 14, at the Wellman Cemetery. In accordance with Mr. Canott's wishes, the body was cremated. Memorials may be made to the Cancer Society or Hospice.
Mr. Canott was born on Oct. 1, 1922, at Wellman, the son of John and Pearl (McClelland) Canott. He married Otha Ward on Sept. 15, 1944, in Great Bend, Kan. She preceded him in death on Nov. 10, 1980.
