Frank O. “Sbud” Mueller, 72, of West Point, Iowa, passed away at 6:15 p.m. Friday, June 16, 2023, at his home.

Born on March 19, 1951, in Fort Madison, the son of Alfred and Mary (Ford) Mueller. On September 1, 1972, in Fort Madison, he married Pearl F. Carel. They later divorced.

He is survived by his three children, Heidi Mueller of Augusta, Holly Mueller of Fort Madison and Heath (Liz) Mueller of Marion, Iowa; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; three siblings, Betty (John) Boughton of Burlington, Darrell (Dana) Mueller of Fort Madison and Mike Mueller of Burlington. He is also survived by his sister in-law, Mitzi Mueller of Burlington; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Barb and Cathy; and brothers, Dave and Don.

Frank was a member of the Fort Madison Moose Club. He enjoyed watching movies, playing cards and gatherings with friends and family. He especially enjoyed eating pizza with his grandchildren.

His body has been entrusted to the crematory of Schmitz Funeral Home for cremation.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 1, 2023, at the Franklin Tap in Franklin, Iowa. Frank would love for everyone to come.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
