Franklin Lewis Hochstetler, 85, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2018, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, December 31, 2018, in the East Union Cemetery followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 pm at the Pleasantview Chapel in Kalona with Leon Stutzman officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, December 30, 2018 from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM at the Yoder-Powell Funeral Home in Kalona.

Frank is survived by his son, James of Kalona; two daughters, Trish (Steve) Billups of South Sioux City, NE and Lori of Kalona; 3 grandchildren: Heather (Stephen) Dunn of Des Moines, WA; Eric (Cassie) Billups of Hopkins, MN; and Dustin Billups of LaCross, WI; 2 great granddaughters: Ellery Billups and Annabel Dunn; and a sister: Edna (Gene) Miller of Kalona. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Mary; a daughter Kathy Jo; 2 sisters and their spouses, Ruby (Leo) Cutshall, Gladys (Alfred) Smith; and 2 brothers Carl and Sam Hochstetler.
