Fred O. Schmitter
Fred "Bud" Otto Schmitter Jr., 71, of Libertyville, died Monday, Jan. 19, at Hospice of Wapello County.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, at Raymond Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday Jan. 22, at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. David Albert officiating. Burial will be at Batavia Cemetery.
Memorials have been established for the Oncology Center at the Ottumwa Hospital or Ottumwa Hospice House. Funeral services have been entrusted to the care of Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.
He was born Dec. 13, 1937, near Brighton, the son of Fred Otto Sr., and Edith Pringle Morgan.
