Fred W. Wade

      MARION - Fred W. Wade, 80, of Marion, died Thursday, July 7, 2005, at Bickford Cottage, following a lengthy illness.

      Memorial services will begin at 11 a.m., Friday, July 22, at First Presbyterian Church in Marion, with the Rev. Howard Chapman the Rev. Julie Anderson-Schuett and the Rev. David Henion officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 21, at Murdoch Funeral Home in Marion. Private family burial will be in Cedar Memorial Cemetery in Cedar Rapids. Memorials have been established for First Presbyterian Church or Hospice of Mercy.

      Mr. Wade was born Oct. 18, 1924, to John and Grace (Randolph) Wade in Keokuk County. He married Naomi Sheetz on Feb. 5, 1949, in Mt. Pleasant.
