Freddie Lee Noble
Freddie Lee Noble, 54, of New London and formerly of Burlington, died Monday evening, Oct. 2, 2000, at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.
The funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 5, at the Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home in Wapello. Visitation will be after noon on Wednesday, Oct. 4, with the family present from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in the Wapello Cemetery. A memorial has been established for the New London Emergency Responders.
Mr. Noble was born Sept. 30, 1946, at Burlington, the son of Donald R. and Mildred M. Perkins Noble. He married Connie Lynn Jester on Oct. 26, 1995, at Oquawka, Ill. He was a 1965 graduate of Wapello High School, working at General Electric in West Burlington for the last 25 years. He was a member of the 7th Infantry Gun Club.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Nicholas Noble, of Burlington; his mother, of Morning Sun; a brother, Donald C. Noble, of Columbus Junction; and two granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his father and a son, Peter.
