Fredrick Brown

Fredrick Brown, 55, of Douds, died March 15, 2006, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

      A service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with the Rev. Larry Wagner officiating. Burial with graveside military rites by Reed Whisler Post 78 of the Bloomfield American Legion will be in Taylor Cemetery in Appanoose County.

      Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Saturday, with family present from 6-8 p.m.

      Mr. Brown was born September 9, 1950, in Memphis, Mo., the son of James and Pearley Ramsey Brown. He married Carla Ann Johnson Dec. 19, 1993, in Bunch.

      Mr. Brown worked at Dexter Company in Fairfield.
