Frieda J. Bachman

Frieda J. Bachman, 92, of Wayland, died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010, in the Parkview Home in Wayland.

    Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 10, at the Sugar Creek Mennonite Church in rural Wayland with the Rev. Nathan Luitjens officiating. Burial will follow at the Sugar Creek Mennonite Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. today at the church, where the family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. A memorial fund has been established for the Sugar Creek Mennonite Church or Cemetery.

    Mrs. Bachman was born Dec. 2, 1918, in rural Henry County, the daughter of Joseph and Lydia (Wagler) Hirschy. She married Earl A. Bachman on Sept. 2, 1938, in Wayland.
