Gail Ann Roder, 54, of Washington, died at her home, Tuesday, August 10, 2021.

Celebration of her Life

will be 2 p.m. Sunday,

August 15, at the Beatty Funeral Home in

Washington, with Fr. Bill Roush officiating. Family will receive friends from noon until service time. Memorials in the name of Gail Roder may be designated to the Holden Cancer Center.

She was born November 1, 1966, in Early, Iowa, the daughter of Roger and Ruth Lorraine (Kotz) Drey. She graduated from Crestland High School and Iowa Lakes Community College. She was united in marriage to Mike Roder on June 2, 1990, in Early, Iowa.

Gail was a self-employed daycare provider and enjoyed her family and spending time with them.

Survivors include her husband, Mike of Washington; children, Brian (Lauren) Roder of Kansas City, Kyle Roder of Cedar Falls, Michaela Roder of Waterloo and Matthew Roder of Ames; mother, Lorraine of Early, Iowa; brothers, Steve (Jean) Drey of Storm Lake and Dean (Deb) Drey of Early; and sisters, Laurie (Bill) Kinnetz of Emmetsburg and Lynn (Tod) Christensen of Johnston.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roger.
