Gail L. Church-Wigington, 45, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at the Henry County Health Center in Mt. Pleasant.

Gail was born on December 7, 1977, in Fairfield, the daughter of Wayne and Lin (Phillips) Church. She married Tim Wigington; and then they later separated. Gail was now engaged to Virgil Nichols. Gail enjoyed life to the fullest and she always had a huge smile. Gail worked for Lomont Molding of Mt. Pleasant as a team leader for several years before going to work at Staats Custom Adwards of Mt. Pleasant. She had worked at Comfort Inn as a general manager. Gail always put her family first.

She is survived by her mother, Lin of Mt. Pleasant; her children, Landon and Zachary; her stepdaughter, Danielle Burgess; and her brother, Andy Church.

Gail was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at the Murphy Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, with Pastor Debra Savage officiating. Burial will be in the White Oak Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until service time on Saturday at the Murphy Funeral Home. A memorial has been established in her memory.
