Gale Hotchkiss

      KEOTA - Gale Hotchkiss, 86, of Harper, died Friday, July 22, 2005, at Washington County Hospital.

      Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 26, at Powell Funeral Home in Keota, with the Rev. Don Ridenour officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be in Brethren Cemetery, near South English, with military rites accorded by VFW Post No. 4716. Memorials have been established for Wilson Memorial Library, Hospice of Washington County, or the American Cancer Society

      Mr. Hotchkiss was born Feb. 16, 1919, south of Kinross, to James and Naomi (Thorburn) Hotchkiss. He married Marjorie Jean Ossman at the Chatham Airfield Chapel in Savannah, Ga. on Aug. 18, 1944.
