Galen L. Kaska February 22, 1935 - October 24, 2005

Galen Leroy Kaska, 70, of Bettendorf, formerly of Fairfield, died Monday, Oct. 24, 2005, in Bettendorf.

      The Mass and services were held Oct. 28 at St. Joseph's Church in East Pleasant Plain.

Survivors include 11 brothers and sisters, Marian Pohlit of Loveland, Colo., Ardell and his wife Lyola Kaska of Fairfield, Marcella Greiner of Washington, Clarabelle Durian of Wellman, Walter and his wife Lois Kaska of Morrison, Colo., Cletus and his wife Virginia Kaska of West Liberty, Lawrence and his wife Dorothy Kaska of Letts, Ronald and his wife Linda Kaska of Mt. Pleasant, Ernest and his wife Darlene Kaska of Brighton, Colo., Kay and her husband Jerry Swain of Sarasota, Fla., and Connie and her husband Steve Staebell of Denver, Colo.

      He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Merle; and a brother-in-law, Howard Greiner.
