Garland W. Snuffer

      Garland W. Snuffer, 76, of rural Bonaparte, died at 3:09 p.m. Monday, Dec. 15, 2008, in the Van Buren County Hospital emergency room in Keosauqua.

      A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with family members conducting the service. Burial will be in Bonaparte Cemetery.

      Family visitation will be from 9-10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

      Memorials to the family may be left at the funeral home or may be mailed to the family at PO Box 26, Bonaparte 52620.

      Mr. Snuffer was born Dec. 4, 1932, in Tam's Mountain, W.Va., the son of Garland R. and Ruby Huffman Snuffer. He married Beverly I. Weatherill March 16, 1957, in Pennsylvania.
