Garnet Marie Cochran

      CEDAR RAPIDS-Garnet Marie Cochran, 98, of Cedar Rapids died Sunday, Feb. 25, 2007, at Manor Care following a short illness.

      Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 1, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories in Cedar Rapids. The Rev. Timothy Smith of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will be at Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington at 3 p.m. Thursday. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids. Memorials may be made to Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy.

      Mrs. Cochran was born Sept. 11, 1908, in Fairfield, to John and Elsie (Stewart) Sharpe. She married Joseph A. Cochran on June 18, 1933, in Lockridge.
