GARY L. BROBSTON

Whitehall, Pa.

Gary L. Brobston, 73, of Whitehall, Pa., passed away Friday, Jan. 3, 2020, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

He was the husband of Barbara M. (Young) Brobston, with whom he shared nearly 50 years of marriage. Born in Fairfield, Iowa, he was the son of the late Billy Bert and Betty Nell (Walton) Brobston. Before retiring, he worked in insulation sales and prior as chief of police in Mount Pleasant, Iowa. He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara; son, Michael L. of Alburtis; daughter, Julie M. Kane of Whitehall; three brothers, David and his wife, Linda, Bill and his wife, Judy and Philip; grandchildren, Devon (Kayla) and Tabitha; and great-granddaughter, Anna.

He was predeceased by a sister, Nancy Salisbury.

Military Honors: 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10, at Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 W. Highland St., Allentown, Pa. Calling begins at 5 p.m.
