Gary D. Johnson

Gary D. Johnson, 55, of Bay City, Texas, formerly of Danville, Burlington and Lincoln, Neb., died Sunday, Jan. 9, 2005, at his home.

      The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 15 at Lunning Chapel in Burlington, with the Rev. Richard Latta officiating. Burial will be in Long Creek Cemetery in rural Danville. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14 at the chapel, with family present from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Memorials have been established to American Heart Association and American Cancer Society.

Survivors include his wife; three stepdaughters, Crystal Hollatz of Bay City; Shiela Cain of Lincoln and Jessica Caddell of Dixon, Ill.; two stepgrandchildren; his parents of Danville; and two sisters, Joni Bence of Burlington, and Judy Smith of Des Moines.
