Gary L. King

A memorial service for Gary L. King, 71, of Kalona, will be held Friday, March 2, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Kalona United Methodist Church in Kalona. Inurnment of cremains will follow at the Sharon Hill Cemetery. A time to greet the family will be held Thursday, March 1 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona. A memorial fund has been established for the Kalona United Methodist Church. Gary King died Sunday, February 25, 2018 at the University of Iowa Hospital following a sudden illness.

Survivors include his wife, Patsy of Kalona; two daughters: Kari Rubel and children Kaycee and Karson Rubel of Dakota City, Iowa, and Kelli (Michael) Trimpe and children Clarice and Shelbie Trimpe of Kalona; one brother, Charles (Kay) King of Tulsa, Okla.; one sister, Pamela (Kurt) Jackson of Ada, Okla.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
