Gary R. Embree
KALONA-Gary R. Embree, 63, of Oxford, died Friday, June 24, 2005, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, following a brief illness.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 29, in Wellman Public Cemetery in Wellman. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, at Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona. A general memorial has been established.
Mr. Embree was born on Oct. 29, 1941, in Wellman, to A. Robert and Jean (Marek) Embree. He married Lillian Holderness in Iowa City on Sept. 17, 1960.
