Gayle A. Zickefoose
Gayle A. Zickefoose, 75, of Camdenton, Mo. died Sunday, April 23, 2000, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 27, at the Allee-Reed Chapel in Camdenton, Mo. with the Rev. Jerry O'Dell officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Camdenton, Mo. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. this evening at the Allee-Reed Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Gayle A. Zickefoose Memorial Fund, c/o Mr. and Mrs. Mark Zickefoose, Route 1, Box 288, Camdenton, Mo., 65020. Services are under the direction of the Allee-Reed Funeral Home in Camdenton.
Mrs. Zickefoose was born March 12, 1925, in Ollie, the daughter of Guy and Blanche Brock Stull. She married Orval E. Zickefoose on Feb. 14, 1943. She was a graduate of Ollie High School. Following their marriage, she and her husband relocated to Mt. Pleasant, where they raised their family. She was employed as a bookkeeper with the Farm Coop in Mt. Pleasant. She and her husband relocated to the lake area in southern Missouri in 1975 and were members of Heartland Worship Center. At the time of her death, she was employed at Silver Dollar City in Branson, Mo.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Orval; four sons, Loren Zickefoose of Woolford, Md., Mark Zickefoose of Camdenton, Mo., Phillip Zickefoose of Oskaloosa and Keith Zickefoose of Camdenton, Mo.; two daughters, Nancy Sasseen of Des Moines and Pat "Lynn" Messer of Camdenton, Mo.; two brothers, Bob Stull of Mt. Pleasant and Ted Stull of Canyon, Texas; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, with two additional great-grandchildren expected soon; other relatives and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Sherry; and one great-granddaughter.
