Gaylord W. Abbott
Gaylord W. Abbott, 91, of Fairfield, and formerly of Winfield, died Wednesday evening, Sept. 25, 2002 at the Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.
The funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28 at the First United Methodist Church in Fairfield, with the Rev. Mike Metz officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. tonight at the Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the family present to receive guests. Memorials have been established to the First United Methodist Church in Fairfield and Colonial Manor in Columbus Junction.
