Gene L. Garrett
INDIANOLA - Gene L. Garrett, 65, of Indianola, died Sunday, April 30, 2001, at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines of a heart attack.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 5, at 11 a.m. at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola. Visitation will be held Friday, May 4, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home, with the family present to receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Indianola.
A memorial has been established to the Indianola Public Library or Camp Wesley Woods in Indianola.
