Geneva Zihlman

Geneva Zihlman, 91, formerly of Brighton died at 12:20 a.m. Wednesday May 24, 2006 at the New London Nursing and Rehab Center where she had been a resident since September.

She was born July 14, 1914 at Grace Hill, in rural Washington County. She was the daughter of Charles Leslie and Alta Cora Rebecca (Hampsher) Eyestone. On July 30, 1934 she married Howard Bales Zihlman in Rock Island, IL and he died March 24, 1996.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday May 26, 2006 at the Gould Funeral Home in Brighton with the Pastors John and Bettyanna Bremer officiating. Burial in Hillcrest Cemetery will be at a later date. A time of fellowship will follow the service. A general memorial has been established.
