CHARITON ? Genevieve Altenhofen, 71, of Chariton, died Sunday, April 29, 2012, in Mercy Hospital in Des Moines.
Funeral services are planned for 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 5, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Chariton. There will be a rosary at 6 p.m. Friday at the Fielding Funeral Home in Chariton, followed by a visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
