Genevieve E. Kimmel

      Genevieve E. Kimmel, 88, of Covington, Ky., formerly of Milton, died at 1:30 a.m. Sunday, March 31, 2008, at Rosedale Manor care center in Covington.

      A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Jerry Caughron officiating. Burial will be in Kilbourne Cemetery.

      Open visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, where family will be present from 7-8 p.m.

      Memorials to the Alzheimer's Association may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 2325 Crestbrook Drive, No. 5, Crescent Springs, KY 41017.

      Mrs. Kimmel was born Feb. 15, 1920, south of Kilbourne, the daughter of Hugh and Ethel Towne Gilbert. She married Walter Jones, and they divorced. She married Henry L. Kimmel June 30, 1953, in Centerville. He died March 23, 1993.
