George 'Bud' Fort
George "Bud" Fort, 68, of Wayland, died Monday, Feb. 24, 2003, at his home in Wayland following a lengthy illness.
The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 27, at the Wayland Mennonite Church, with the Revs. Kenneth Hartman and Robert Wolf officiating. Burial will be in the Cottonwood Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Beatty Funeral Home in Wayland with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials have been established to Crossroads Hospice and the Iowa ALS Foundation.
