George C. Potts

      George C. "Cal" Potts of Tucson, Arizona, died Wednesday, November 26. He was a long-time public relations executive with Sears Roebuck and Co. in Chicago, Illinois, before taking early retirement. He was a veteran of the United States Army in World War II. He was a writer, editor and photographer.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Edith H. Potts of Tucson; six children, including Martha Potts-Bell of Mt. Pleasant; 14 grandchildren and one great grandson. He was preceded in death by one son.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 13 at the First United Methodist Church in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to local public libraries.
